Rob Rokicki and Amanda Flynn Join The 3rd Ugly Christmas Sweater Soiree at Feinstein's/54 Below

Rob Rokicki is an award-winning songwriter, performer and music director. He is member of the Dramatists Guild and alum of the Tony Award-winning BMI workshop. Rob wrote the music and lyrics to the Lortel nominated Off-Broadway musical, "The Lightning Thief" (book Joe Tracz), returning in 2017. He co-authored with Michael Ruby the musicals "Love, NY" and "Strange Tails." His studio album is available on iTunes and his album/graphic novel, Monstersongs, will be out soon featuring Broadway friends. As an actor, Rob's performed in the 25th Anniversary Tour of "Evita" directed by Hal Prince; numerous regional theaters (Carbonell Award nomination), Carnegie Hall, and throughout NYC. Amanda Flynn is a professional actress, singer, musical theatre educator, and voice teacher. As a performer, she was an original cast member of the LA company of Wicked understudying the role of Glinda. She was also part of the Las Vegas company of Mamma Mia as an understudy for Sophie, and the Laurey understudy in the national tour of the last Broadway revival of Oklahoma. THE UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATER SOIREE is conceived and produced by Megan Minutillo. Volume 3 will feature music direction by Dan Mertzluft, and includes a selection of holiday classics and Broadway holiday favorites performed by some of the best voices in the NYC theatre community.

A portion of the proceeds will go to the SuperYouFUNdation.

The SuperYouFUN curriculum and program uses a blended approach to learning to include writing, music, art, presentation, collaboration, and technology for students to notice the superhero qualities in themselves and others so they feel empowered to positively impact the world around them.

Rokicki and Flynn will join a cast that features the dazzling vocal stylings of Melanie Brook, Janine DiVita, Christopher Hlinka, Melissa Rose Hirsch, Jessica Kahkoska, Hannah Kloepfer, Jon Kovach, Alicia Krakauer, Angelo McDonough, T.J. Newton, Monet Sabel, Taylor Sorice, Zachary Francis Stewart, Stephanie Turci, R.J. Vaillancourt, with additional special guests soon to be announced!
