54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Ricky Saunders "In A World of His Own" on September 24th, 2014 at 7 p.m. In this dynamic evening, Ricky uses storytelling through music from stage, screen and Top 40 to fantastically paint his one-of-a-kind journey of growing up. The show chronicles everything from the days of "The Saunders Performing Arts Center," a mid-Nineties makeshift theatre venue in the basement of his parents' conservative house in a suburb of Buffalo, to the Great Escape to his own personal "Neverland": New York City. Soar through the world of his imagination through his personal trials of faith, trust, wanderlust and finding the courage of being yourself in an industry that is difficult to break into.

The show will be directed by Sean Barrett and music directed by Mark Evans. Additional music direction and arrangements are by singer/songwriter Eric Loehr. The show will boast Wardrobe Design by Lisa Jane Wright and Lighting Design by Weston Wetzel. The band will be completed by Shawn Smith (Guitar) and Ellie Kahn (Clarinet/Saxophone).

Ricky Saunders "In A World of His Own" plays 54 Below (254 West 54th Street) on September 24th, 2014 at 7 p.m. There is a $25-$50 cover charge and $25 food and beverage minimum. Hailing from Buffalo, NY, Ricky is ecstatic to be making his 54 Below debut. He was selected in 2012 as one of The Town Hall Theatre's "Broadway Rising Stars". His New York Credits include "The Seed of Abraham" at the Bleecker Street Theatre and Scott Siegel's acclaimed "Broadway By the Year" concerts. Other credits include "9 to 5", "Falsettos", "Peter Pan" and "Two Gentlemen of Verona". He is currently working on music and lyrics for his new musical titled "The Tale of the Never Ever Boy".
