Get ready New York, Latina comedian Renee Santos is back as an official East Coaster and to prove it she's returning to The Metropolitan Room on March 11th 2017.

'BITING THE BIG APPLE AGAIN" delivers Santos' liberal, hip, and hilarious perspective since settling into her cross-country move from Los Angeles to New York in 2015-- well, New Jersey to be exact.

"I got a place in Jersey City...I run right by the Statue of Liberty every day, but I look at the ass of the Statue. It's like Lady Liberty's way of saying: 'screw you; you can kiss it, because you're priced out of all 5 boroughs! But, when it came down to it...I thought: do I want to cross the state line or do I want my bathtub in my kitchen?"

From apartment hunting to trash collection to the weather to the new Trump administration, Santos isn't afraid to compare and share her experiences. Taking her inspiration from her real life, audiences can expect plenty of quick and clever tales about her training for a triathlon, recovery from drug addiction, sharing a birthday with Donald Trump, and accepting herself as a lesbian and dealing with her very religious Cuban Mother. Also a musical comic, Santos will be introducing two brand new songs during the show, further giving us permission to laugh at the commonality in us all.

Santos is thrilled to be making her New York solo debut, adding "It's been such a blessing to experience the NYC market, I think every Comic/Actress ideally wants to have a Bi-coastal career and I feel like after 13 years in just the LA market I'm getting to experience the challenges, similarities, and the differences of working on both coasts."

Santos rose quickly through the comedy ranks bursting onto the national comedy scene in 2011 with her celebrated appearance in the "outrageous" Showtime stand-up comedy special 'PRIDE COMEDY JAM,' featuring 6 up-and-coming gay comics. A regular at The Comedy Store and other venues in Hollywood, Santos performed at 'Laugh Out Loud' alongside funnyman Bruce Vilanch, at the 2013 San Diego Pride event and the 2014 NACA Mid Atlantic Festival. Santos successfully toured colleges on the east coast with her 'I Got This' comedy show and performed for Olivia Cruise Lines 40th Anniversary Punta Cana Resort Vacation alongside comedy legend Wanda Sykes. She is excited to announce she is currently developing a special one-hour comedy show produced by All Out Productions' CEO and Showtime Producer Andrea Meyerson.

Santos has also been building a solid resume as an actress recently staring in her first lead role in StandOut Productions Newest Film ONE WAY STREET, in 2016 she Co-starred on TNT's "Murder in the First", as a CSI Officer, in 2015, the Jerry Bruckheimer produced CBS sci-fi series "Eleventh Hour", and Showtime Network's "Californication" starring David Duchovny, She also currently has 2 commercials running nationwide, for the fast-food chain "Wendy's" and for "One-a-Day" Vitamins. Her credits also include roles in several celebrated indie films, including "30 is the New 12" which first earned high praise at Outfest Film Festival in 2010, and "Shooting April" which was featured in two festivals and was named 'Favorite Movie of the Month' by Film Stage Magazine. Her voice-over abilities have landed her regular gigs on the 'looping' scene, including numerous Disney projects and the NBC hit-series 'Brothers and Sisters' for the last two seasons.
