Daniel Reichard, who stars as Bob Gaudio in the Tony Award-winning Best Musical Jersey Boys, has been invited back by popular demand to perform "Summer Mix Tape" at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette Street) on Saturday, September 8th at 11:45 PM.

"'Summer Mix Tape' is a mini-tribute to the making of mix tapes which truly climaxed in America in the late 1980s. The songs are classic rock. The stories are nostalgic, humiliating reminiscences of a childhood spent being the 8th of 9 children. Accompanied by a fabulous rock band, Daniel will sing some classics and lead the audience in a true celebration of summer music. Daniel will be joined onstage by special guest, singer/comedienne Wendy Ho (currently featured on the Logo network's music program 'NewNowNext')," state press notes.

The evening will include Steve Gibb (guitar/music director), Kevin Dow (drums), Steve "Hoops" Snyder (keyboards), Ken Dow (bass), David Speers (horns), and back-up vocals by Amy Wren.

Daniel Reichard, a native of Cleveland, Ohio, made his New York City debut in Forbidden Broadway: 20th Anniversary Celebration (original cast). Shortly after, he had the honor of playing artist Keith Haring in the Public Theater's Radiant Baby under the direction of George C. Wolfe. Reichard then created a dozen characters for his role in The Thing About Men at the Promenade Theatre (original cast album). Daniel received a Drama Desk Award nomination in his Broadway debut for his portrayal of songwriter Bob Gaudio in Jersey Boys, a role he originated in the show's La Jolla Playhouse premiere. Regional credits include the Weston Playhouse, North Shore Music Theatre, Goodspeed Opera House, O'Neill Center, and St. Louis' MUNY. As a concert singer, he has had sold-out engagements at Joe's Pub, the Metropolitan Room, and Ars Nova. Other concert appearances include performances at Carnegie Hall (3 times), Symphony Space, BB Kings, Town Hall, Firebird, and the Cutting Room, as well as with the Arkansas Symphony.

Tickets to Summer Mix Tape are $15.00 each and are available at The Public Theater box office, by phone at 212-967-7555, and online at http://tickets.publictheater.org/calendar/view.asp?id=3313.  For more information log on to www.joespub.com.
