The winners of the previously announced Tim Realbuto/Jenna Leigh Green songwriting competition are Nathan Brisby and Lizzie Hagstedt, who wrote the original winning piece entitled Mesa Song. As part of their prize, they both received free tickets to Realbuto's star- studded 54 Below show last week, a chance to hear Mr. Realbuto and Ms. Green sing their original song in front of a live audience at 54 Below, as well as a meet and greet with Jenna and Tim after the show in the upstairs greenroom. A recording of Realbuto and Green's performance of Mesa Song from that night will also be featured on You Tube within the coming weeks.

Tim's not-so-solo solo show entitled Tim Realbuto: Alone (With Plenty of Help), was a sold-out, critical hit when it premiered on Thursday, July 24th at popular venue 54 Below. It also featured a slew of Broadway and film stars including Tony Award winner Beth Leavel (The Drowsy Chaperone; 42nd Street); Derek Klena (Dogfight; Wicked); the aforementioned Jenna Leigh Green ("Sabrina, the Teenage Witch"; Bare: A Pop Opera); Jason Gotay (Bring It On; Spiderman: Turn Off The Dark); Drama Desk Nominee Christina Bianco (Forbidden Broadway; "The Ellen Show"); Laurissa Romain (South Pacific; "Are We There Yet?"); Natascia Diaz (tick tick...Boom; Seussical); Kimberly Faye Greenberg (Danny and Sylvia; One Night With Fanny Brice); and Broadway legend Joy Franz (Into the Woods; A Little Night Music). The ensemble included Julie D'Moure (Hair), Justin Anthony Long ("City of Dreams"), Anna Louise Morse (Spring Awakening), and Nicholas Yenson (Riverdance). The evening was written and conceived by Realbuto, with musical direction by Julianne B. Merrill.

Realbuto, along with his publicist, are planning a mini NYC tour of the show in the fall, to test it out with a larger audience. Dates and venues will be announced shortly. It is unclear whether all of Realbuto's guest stars from the last show will be able to continue with the production. Follow Tim on Twitter at https://twitter.com/treallybuto for more information.
