Rising musical theatre comedienne Rebecca Spigelman will be making her solo concert debut at Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, on October 6th, 2016, in her new cabaret Rebecca Spigelman: 16 GOING ON 70.

Rebecca Spigelman: 16 GOING ON 70 is a new cabaret dedicated to all those high school actresses who grew up playing the roles that they should never have played in their teen years. From Mama Rose at twelve, to Fagin at fourteen, Rebecca Spigelman's cabaret is a madcap adventure through the weird, wild, and wonderful choices made by America's high school drama teachers.

In a statement, Spigelman said, ""I am beyond thrilled to have the opportunity to premiere my solo concert debut at Feinstein's/54 Below! The night will be filled with some of Broadway's best musical numbers, and I couldn't be more excited to share my story with everyone, especially those girls who know what its like to use an eyebrow pencil for wrinkle lines, baby powder for hair coloring, and where to trade LaDuca's for sensible orthopedics."

Audiences can expect to hear the works of such artists as Jule Styne, Betty Comden, Adolph Green, Lionel Bart, Jerry Herman, and countless others.

Spigelman is best known for her work in TeamStarKid's Twisted, as well as her turn as Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray. Audiences might remember her incredible turn as both Mayor Shinn and Mrs. Shinn in the Gypsy in a Trunk production of The Music Man when she was 11.

Joining Rebecca will be Kevin Smith Kirkwood (Kinky Boots), as well as Travis Brown. Other artists appearing will be announced shortly.

Robert W Schneider, host of Behind The Curtain: Broadway's Living Legends, directs the concert. Daniel Lincoln is the evening's musical director.

Rebecca Spigelman: 16 GOING ON 70 plays Feinstein's/54 Below (254 West 54th Street) on October 6th, 2016, at 9:30pm. There is a $25-$35 cover charge and $25 food and beverage minimum.
