A talented vocalist at the age of 12, Rachel Potter began writing original music as a vehicle to cope with her mother's Juvenile Diabetes. At 16, she cut a solo Christian album, Come Back Home. She spent her college years performing in numerous roles at Walt Disney World, including Ariel, Belle, and Nemo. In 2008, Rachel was featured on MTV's reality series "Legally Blonde: The Search for Elle Woods."

As a musical theater veteran, Potter has already cultivated an impressive following. She made her Broadway debut at Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family, alongside Brooke Shields. Her performance as the Mistress in the Broadway revival of Evita earned her standing ovations from critics - among them Bloomberg News, Backstage, The Bergen Record and New Jersey News Room. She also toured as a Glinda understudy in the 2nd national tour of Stephen Schwartz smash hit musical, Wicked. Other credits include Wendla in freeFall Theatre's Spring Awakening, for which she received a nomination for "Outstanding Leading Actress in a Musical" in the Theatre Tampa Bay Awards.

Potter's musical style is colored by an eclectic mix of influences including her Southern upbringing, her rock-and-roller parents, her Baptist church, classical training and singing as princesses at Walt Disney World. Her debut - and fan funded - EP Live the Dream was released in 2012, boasting flavors of country, pop and rock. Fellow Evita cast members, including Michael Cerveris and Ricky Martin made cameos in her music video for the title track: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cT7JaXwHPA4

Rachel auditioned for The X Factor USA in Long Island, New York over the summer of 2013. She was praised for her stunning rendition of Queen's "Somebody to Love," which has now reached over 9 million views on YouTube. She progressed quickly through the rounds of competition and found herself amongst the top 16 in the Live Shows. Her versions of "I Hope You Dance," "Anyway" and "Alone," attracted much attention from both the judges and the viewers at home. She placed 11th and garnered a large community of supporters, which she has lovingly donned "The Potterazzi." Potter is currently living in Nashville, where she is pursuing her country music career.
