Mykal Kilgore & Zoe Sarnak Set for NEW VOICES Concert Tonight

The acclaimed series 'Monday Nights, New Voices' will return to the Duplex Cabaret Theatre tonight, May 20th, 2013 produced by composer Scott Alan.

The 7pm concert will be hosted by 2007 'New Voice' alumni Mykal Kilgore. Kilgore has since gone on to star in Hair Revival on Broadway and the 1st National Touring company of The Book of Mormon.

Those being celebrated will be Max Chernin, Ashley Dillard, Bethany Fagan, Philly Lopez and Tony Ponella. The New Voices will sing the songs of up-and-coming composer Zoe Sarnak.

Paul Staroba will return as musical director.

Zoe Sarnak (Writer) Zoe Sarnak is a composer, lyricist and playwright. She graduated from Harvard University in 2009 magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. Sarnak wrote the book, music and lyrics for The Quad, developed and performed at Harvard's Loeb Experimental Theatre. Her music has been showcased in concerts including Cutting Edge Composers, NYTB D-Lounge, Composers Sing Composers, A Very MARY Holiday Gala at Playwrights Horizons and many more. Sarnak has four full-length musicals in development including Mixtape, featured in Silent Street Productions 2012 season and A Lasting Impression, winner of Pace New Musicals 2012 and performed off-Broadway at the 4th Street Theatre at NYTW in August of 2012.
