FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed "Best of New York" by New York Magazine and "an invaluable New York institution" by The New York Post, will continue its Winter 2010 season with Broadway star, Maureen McGovern for two shows on January 8. For her show at Feinstein's, Ms. McGovern will give an encore presentation of "A Long and Winding Road - The Concert." Her critically acclaimed tribute to iconic singer/songwriters Jimmy Webb, Laura Nyro, James Taylor, Carole King, Paul Simon, Joni Mitchell and more, includes 60's classics such as "By the Time I Get to Phoenix", "And When I Die", "Fire and Rain" and "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?" Both shows, which feature Musical Director Jeffrey Harris and bassist Jay Leonhart, will take place at the Loews Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street).

Maureen's current PS Classics CD, A Long and Winding Road has been praised by The New York Times as "...a captivating musical scrapbook from the 1960s to the early 70s. Ms. McGovern's vocal technique is second to none."

Maureen McGovern has enjoyed a nearly 40 year career includes concerts, recordings and Broadway. She is a two-time Grammy nominee (Best New Artist and Best Traditional Pop Vocal) and winner for her participation in the children's album, Songs From the Neighborhood. Maureen's celebrated recording career began with the Oscar-winning records, "The Morning After" (Billboard #1 Gold) and "We May Never Love Like This Again." She was nominated for a Drama Desk Award for originating the role of "Marmee" in Little Women: The Musical and has also starred on Broadway in The Pirates of Penzance, The Threepenny Opera and Nine. She is a recent recipient of the AFTRA AMEE Lifetime Sound Recording Award, Nightlife Legend Award and the MAC Lifetime Achievement Award.

FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY will present Maureen McGovern on Friday, January 8 at 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM. The show has a $25.00 cover with $40 premium seats available, in addition to a $25.00 food and beverage minimum. Jackets are suggested but not required.
