Broadway actor, singer and songwriter Marcus Paul James returns to the 54 Below stage with a night of R&B in his show Love and Soul. With Brian Whitted leading the band, Marcus turns the stage into a soulfest with a mix of Broadway, covers, and original tunes - out to prove that the modern-day balladeers and crooners are still alive and well.

"Love and SOUL" is April 5th at 11:00 (doors open at 10pm) at 54 Below, located at 254 W 54th St. Cellar, New York. Cover charge is $25-$35, food and beverage minimum is $25 (cover charge: additional $5 at the door). For a limited time, get $5 off using the code MPJ5. Tickets can be purchased at http://54below.com/artist/marcus-paul-james/. Tickets on the day of performance after 4:00pm are only available by calling (646) 476-3551.

Marcus is currently a part of the cast of Broadway's "MOTOWN THE MUSICAL". He was last seen in the off-Broadway revival of "RENT", where he reprised his role of Mr. Jefferson and "Seasons of Love" soloist. Before that, he was a part of the Broadway closing casts of the Tony Award-winning shows "In the Heights" and "RENT", as well the movie "Rent: Filmed Live on Broadway". Marcus has released two albums of his own music, as well as been featured on multiple up-and-coming composer albums including Scott Alan and Bobby Cronin. All albums available on Cdbaby, Itunes, and Amazon.
