54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, welcomes Executive Chef Lynn Bound to its kitchen this season. Bound has assumed the position formerly held by Executive Chef André Marrero who opened the venue in the spring of 2012. Marrero has taken the position of Executive Chef at Great Harbor Yacht Club in Nantucket.

Chef Bound comes to 54 Below following seven years with Union Square Hospitality Group where she served as Executive Chef at Cafe 2 and Terrace 5 at the Museum of Modern Art. Union Square Hospitality Group served as a consultant in creating the 54 Below restaurant operation, reflecting 54 Below's commitment from the start to the highest quality dining and beverage service.

As the only female Executive Chef in the Danny Meyer organization running two high volume restaurants within MOMA, Bound displayed great creativity in developing menus and special dishes to accompany special exhibits and specific works of art at the MOMA venues. Her work included occasional direct collaboration with performance artists.

The possibility of Chef Bound collaborating in a similar fashion with the Broadway singers and musicians who perform at 54 Below is an exciting possibility for both the Chef and the management of the club.

"It is an honor to join the team at 54 Below, which has become New York's most exciting supper club, as their new Executive Chef," says Bound. " I look forward to building on the sterling reputation for wonderful dining created by Chef André Marrero, and creating new menus using healthy, seasonal, and local ingredients wherever possible in the coming months."

"We are thrilled to have Chef Lynn Bound guiding our efforts to achieve and maintain culinary excellence," says 54 Below proprietor Richard Frankel. "Her food is thrilling, her spirit is inspiring and her proven ability to collaborate with artists at MOMA opens up all sorts of possibilities for us at 54 Below where we present the work of nearly 50 musical artists per month. We are so grateful to Chef André Marrero for insuring over the first two years of our existence that a stellar dining experience would be integral to the guest experience at 54 Below and we wish him all the best in his new endeavor."

54 Below is open for Pre-Theatre Dinner seven days a week. Make dinner reservations by calling 54 Below at 646-476-3551 or online at www.54below.com/dining. Patrons who have purchased a ticket to an upcoming 54 Below performance do not need to make a separate dinner reservation.
