Liz Callaway Headlines Inaugural Cabaret at The 1919 Lounge Tonight

Tony-nominee and Emmy Award-winning artist Liz Callaway will star in the inaugural cabaret of the Empire Arts Center's new program, The 1919 Lounge. This Broadway legend is best known for her starring roles in Baby, Miss Saigon, and Cats, in addition to being the singing voice of Anya in the animated feature film Anastasia.

The evening will take place in an intimate, transformed setting on the Empire's historic stage, with lite bites and beverages handcrafted by Brick & Barley. Callaway alongside her musical director Alex Rybeck will share Broadway favorites, enchanting tales, and songs from her latest CD, The Essential Liz Callaway.

This event has extremely limited seating. Guests are encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance as tables are assigned on a first come, first serve basis. Table preferences can by made by calling the box office. For tickets call 701-746-5500 or visit www.empireartscenter.com.

ABOUT EMPIRE ARTS CENTER

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Empire Arts Center is dedicated to promoting the arts in the greater Grand Forks community. The Empire provides a welcoming venue for other local arts organizations, as well as developing our own artistic programming such as the Empire Theatre Company and the Backstage Project. The Empire is also home to the UND Art Collections Gallery; exhibits from this collection have displayed works by renowned artists such as Andy Warhol and Salvador Dali.
