Broadway's Lindsey Brett Carothers (Bring it On, WICKED (National Tour)) will premiere her new one-woman show, THE VOICE WITHIN, on August 7 at 9:30pm at The Duplex Cabaret Theater. Written and performed by Carothers, the show is directed by Marshall Pailet with music direction by Andrea Grody. Drew Fornarola and Madame Mathieu Productions will produce.

"This isn't your average 'I was born and raised' cabaret. Lindsey gets hired to make people laugh, and so that's exactly what she's gonna do for you. Besides, if Lindsey isn't spending her time making people laugh... she's not positive she exists, but she's curious to find out what it feels like to do something serious maybe once, too."

The Duplex CABARET THEATER is located at 61 Christopher Street (on 7th Avenue, just off the 1 train). Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door, and there is a two beverage minimum. Seating is strictly limited. Please visit http://www.theduplex.com/site/calendar to reserve tickets.
