On Monday, July 9th at 8pm Lillias White returns to The Triad in THE EARLY BIRD BIRTHDAY BASH!!! The evening will feature Timothy Graphenreed on piano, Gary Haase on bass - and on drums, Buddy Williams.

Ms. White recently completed a successful run of August Wilson's GEM OF THE OCEAN at THE Rubicon Theatre in Ventura, California and managed to squeeze in a sold out performance at THE Catalina Bar & Grill before flying back to her beloved New York State. Lillias has been seen and heard in many venues worldwide from Sydney, Australia to Singapore, to Lagos, Nigeria.

Lillias White’s many Broadway credits include FELA!, for which she garnered a Tony nomination, CATS, HOW TO SUCCEED... CHICAGO, DREAMGIRLS, ONCE ON THIS ISLAND, BARNUM, and THE LIFE earning her the Friends of New York Theatre, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, and Tony Awards for her portrayal of “Sonja,” the hooker with the heart of gold.

Lillias has been seen on the big screen with Katie Holmes in PIECES OF APRIL, with Michael Keaton in GAME SIX, and her distinctive vocals are familiar to children of all ages from the DISNEY animated feature HERCULES. On TV, you’ve certainly seen her on LAW & ORDER, or maybe on the PBS-TV presentation of SOUTH PACIFIC as Bloody Mary as well as on SESAME STREET (EMMY AWARD). OFF Broadway credits include ROMANCE IN HARD TIMES at The Public The Theatre (OBIE AWARD), CROWNS (AUDELCO AWARD), DINAH WAS, THE PRINCESS AND THE BLACKEYED PEA, NATIVITY, and THE BEST IS YET TO COME at 59E59 St Theatre (DRAMA DESK).

Lillias loves to "Come to the Cabaret” and has performed in venues like JOE’S PUB, The VENETIAN ROOM, FEINSTEIN’S, JAZZ @LINCOLN CENTER, and the World Famous Apollo Theatre in Harlem.
