This April, the BROADWAY SINGS concert series will present its 11th show with Broadway Sings Whitney Houston. A cast of 15 Broadway stars will sing completely new arrangements of the legendary diva's greatest hits, accompanied by a 14-piece orchestra playing original orchestrations. Previous artists honored in the series include Adele, Michael Jackson, Beyoncé, Sara Bareilles, and Billy Joel.

The lineup will include Nick Rashad Burroughs (Kinky Boots), Nicholas Christopher (Motown), Lilli Cooper (Spring Awakening), Christine Dwyer (Wicked), Jason Gotay (Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark), Sydney James Harcourt (Hamilton), Amber Iman (Shuffle Along), Marcus Paul James (Rent), Joaquina Kalukango (The Color Purple), Corey Mach (Godspell), Rachel Potter (Evita), Saycon Sengbloh (Eclipsed), Marisha Wallace (Something Rotten), and more to be announced at a later date.

The concert will give tribute to this groundbreaking artist and her greatest songs, including "I Will Always Love You", "I Have Nothing", "Greatest Love of All", and "So Emotional". The music will be orchestrated and arranged by Joshua Stephen Kartes.

Whitney Houston is the only artist to chart seven consecutive No. 1 Billboard hits. Her 1985 debut album became the best-selling debut album by a woman in history. In 2009, Guinness World Records cited her as the most awarded female act of all time. Houston is one of pop music's best-selling music artists of all time, with an estimated 200 million records sold worldwide. She released seven studio albums and three movie soundtrack albums, all of which have diamond, multi-platinum, platinum or gold certification.

Broadway Sings Whitney Houston, produced and directed by Corey Mach (Invisible Thread, Wicked), will celebrate the success and talent of this legendary, soulful artist. More information about the series can be found online: www.broadwaysingsconcert.com or @BroadwaySings.
