Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Kelli Rabke in "THE WIZARD...AND I: THE MUSIC OF Stephen Schwartz" on Thursday, November 17th at 7:00PM.

After a sold-out cabaret debut at Feinstein's/54 Below, Kelli Rabke is back with her much anticipated follow-up: The Wizard...and I: The Music of Stephen Schwartz. The wizardry of Stephen Schwartz is in its fifth decade and has given us some of the best loved shows of all time, including Godspell, Pippin, and the mega-smash hit, Wicked. Kelli has had the opportunity to work with Stephen many times throughout her career, including the Paper Mill Playhouse production and American Premiere recording of Children of Eden, where she played "Yonah". Now, she pays tribute to her favorite musical theatre composer in The Wizard...and I: The Music of Stephen Schwartz. Join Kelli as she honors some of Schwartz's most lasting works - songs that speak to that part in all of us searching for our "Corner of the Sky".

Kelli's band is made up of some of the cabaret world's best known musicians: Sean Harkness (guitar), Tom Hubbard (bass), Dan Gross (drums), backup vocals by Blaine Krauss and Stevi Incremona, and on piano with Music Direction by John Fischer. The show was directed by Scott Coulter.

Kelli Rabke in THE WIZARD...AND I: THE MUSIC OF Stephen Schwartz plays Feinstein's/54 Below (254 West 54th Street) on THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 17TH AT 7:00PM. There is a $30-$65 cover charge and $25 food and beverage minimum. Tickets and information are available at www.54Below.com. Tickets on the day of performance after 4:00 are only available by calling (646) 476-3551.

Kelli got her big break playing Dorothy in the Paper Mill Playhouse's acclaimed production of The Wizard of Oz. She was handpicked by Andrew Lloyd Webber himself and made her Broadway debut as the Narrator in the revival of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (US Cast Recording) followed by Eponine in Les Miserables on Broadway. She performed extensively in regional theatres around the country - favorite roles include Mack and Mabel(Mabel), Phantom (Christine), Promises Promises (Fran), The Hot Mikado (Yum Yum), at such theatres as Goodspeed Opera House, Toronto's Royal Alexandra, and Ford's Theatre in D.C. Kelli originated the role of Yonah in the American premiere of Stephen Schwartz's Children of Eden (American Premiere Recording) at the Paper Mill Playhouse. She has been seen and heard in tons of TV commercials and voice-overs, was the voice of Kat in the Discovery Kids series Kenny the Shark, and played Bernadette on The Young and the Restless.

After taking time off to start a family, Kelli is a recent addition to the NYC cabaret scene, with her sold out show at 54 Below: No Place Like Home, and much anticipated follow up: The Wizard and I: The Music of Stephen Schwartz. New York audiences now hear her regularly, from Town Hall to the Metropolitan Room to the award winning 54 Sings series at 54 Below. Recent concert highlights include Blockbuster Broadway with numerous symphony orchestras stretching from Calgary to Mazatlan, a PBS American Songbook segment of Stephen Schwartz & Friends at NJPAC where Kelli sang "The Wizard and I" with Stephen himself at the piano, and debuting an original song written by David Friedman and Kathie Lee live on the Today show.

Kelli is also on the board and executive committee at the bergenPAC in Englewood. She helped to create the Kidz Cabaret series, Music Speaks and the beyond Music program, and see that the bergenPAC Performing Arts School came to fruition.

Kelli is most proud of her biggest "productions" to date: her son, Joseph, and daughter Abigale! For more info and photos, including a gallery of pix of Kelli and Stephen Schwartz over the years, visit www.kellirabke.com.
