Broadways Kecia Lewis Evans appears on the "Just a Piano" Concert Series, in "Songs I Feel Like Singing" on Monday, June 1st @ 7pm and Friday, June 5th 9:30pm at The Triad Theatre, 158 West 72nd Street (between Broadway & Columbus). Lewis Evans' "Just A Piano" Concert will feature standards, pop, Gospel, R&B and Broadway.
"Songs I Feel Like Singing" features Matt Perri (The Drowsy Chaperone) on piano, direction by Jerry Dixon (Once On This Island, Five Guys Named Moe) with featured guest vocalist, Tony Winner, LaChanze (The Color Purple).

Kecia Lewis Evans has been seen on Broadway in Chicago, The Drowsy Chaperone, Once on This Island, Ain't Misbehavin', Big River, The Gospel at Colonus and history lists her as last original Dreamgirls cast member hired by the late, great, Michael Bennett - cast as "Effie White" at 18 years old. Other theatrical credits include Dessa Rose (Drama Desk Nomination) and From the Mississippi Delta.

The Just A Piano Concert Series has presented numerous top artists such as Broadway/TV's, Roz Ryan, Tony Award Winner, Lillias White, Tony Award Winner, Adriane Lenox, recording sensation Alyson Williams ("Just Call My Name"), Marva Hicks (Caroline or Change), Julie Reiber (Wicked), Crystal Mone Hall (Rent) Shoshana Bean (Hairspray/Wicked), Kevin-Anthony, co-founder of "Black2 Broadway" Opera's diva's Shirley Verrett's protégé, Erika Banks - The Little Mermaid's, Zakiya Young Mizen (Featuring Norm Lewis) - The Series' Creator, Lee Summers - May 11th @ 9:30pm, Tituss Burgess - July 12th @ 9:00pm, Tony Award Winner, Lillias White returns in Mondays in September.
Just A Piano SM Concert Series featured pianists include, Timothy Graphenreed (The Wiz), Brian Whitted (Bette Midler), James Samplina, Onaje Allan Gumbs, Shelton Becton and many more.
