Ross, Jibson, Karr and More Perform at MOSTLY SONDHEIM at the Duplex in October

MOSTLY SONDHEIM, the long-running open mic night at the Duplex on Friday nights features Broadway guests and theme nights. The night is hosted by Kate Pazakis (Jerry Springer the Opera at Carnegie Hall, Newsical, and the new solo recording Kate Pazakis Unzipped)and Todd Buonopane (Broadway's Spelling Bee & Grease, television's 30 Rock). Previous guests have included Julie Rieber and Sarah Stiles.

The October guests have been announced and include Tory Ross (9 to 5, Cry Baby) and Carly Jibson (Fat Camp, Hairspray, Cry Baby) on Oct. 9; Morgan Karr (Spring Awakening) and Carey Anderson (Avenue Q, Mamma Mia) on Oct. 16; and Jay Johnson (Hair) on Oct. 30.

MOSTLY SONDHEIM is also currently featured in the film, The Big Gay Musical. (Pazakis and Buonopane also appear in the film).

The open mic night sings every Friday night at 11:30pm.  The event is free and open to the public. The Duplex, New York City's world famous cabaret and piano bar, is located in the heart of West Greenwich Village in Manhattan at 61 Christopher Street (at Seventh Avenue).
