Celebrating the launch of her new solo album, "ALL THIS HAPPINESS", on PS Classics, Judy Kuhn is making her debut at 54 Below, (254 W. 54th Street between Broadway & 8th Avenue) in, "ALL THIS HAPPINESS" tonight, June 10th and Wednesday, June 12th at 7:00 p.m., featuring Dan Lipton, Musical Director, cellist Peter Sachon and percussionist Damien Bassman. The show will include songs from the new CD as well as some of her other favorites.

Ranging from standards to contemporary fare, song selections include Cole Porter's, I Concentrate on You, Cy Coleman & Carolyn Leigh's, The Best Is Yet to Come, Joni Mitchell's, Help Me, Leonard Cohen's Dance Me to the End of Love, Jule Styne and Frank Loesser's, Look At You, Look At Me and Stephen Sondheim's, In Buddy's Eyes among others.

Kuhn says, of ALL THIS HAPPINESS, "having previously made two songbook albums which focused on the works of one writer, I really wanted to do something different. I've wanted to record songs by songwriters that I've listened to since being a child, like Joni Mitchell and Tom Waits. At the same time, I wanted to incorporate writers from the theatre world, like Stephen Sondheim and Adam Guettel, whose music and lyrics have always spoken to me. Collectively, the songs became a meditation on love and happiness; songs that I feel I have to sing at this point in my life and my career."

A three-time Tony Award nominee for her work in She Loves Me, LES MISERABLES and Chess, Kuhn was most recently seen as Fosca in the Classic Stage Company's critically acclaimed revival of the Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine musical, Passion. She has performed on concert stages around the world; sang the title role in Disney's feature film Pocahontas, as well as the sequel, Pocahontas II: Journey To a New World and has garnered many film and television credits throughout her career. She can be heard on numerous original cast recordings as well as her two solo CD's Just in Time: Judy Kuhn Sings Jule Styne and Serious Playground: The Songs of Laura Nyro.
