Judy Gold to Host Upcoming LezCab Benefit Concert at Joe's Pub

Rachel Kunstadt (Artistic Director) is excited to announce the 1st annual LezCab Winter Benefit Concert on Monday, January 11th at 7:00pm at New York City's Joe's Pub in support of LezCab's work to create an accurate and meaningful representation of queer women in order to foster equality and community through cabarets, new works, re-imagined classics, and social and networking events.

The benefit will be hosted by Emmy award winning comedian and writer Judy Gold, under the musical direction of Julianne B. Merrill with performances by Tony Nominated actor and singer, Emily Skeggs (Fun Home), Roberta Colindrez (Fun Home), Ariana DeBose (Hamilton), Jenifer Foote (She Loves Me), Stephanie Klemons (Hamilton), Kristian Espiritu (Here Lies Love) Anna Ty Bergman, Kerri George, & Melanie Brook (The Mashup Project), students from New York University and Pace University, and more!

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at www.publictheater.org.

For the past four years, LezCab has been producing events by, for, and about queer woman in theatre and has welcomed performers like Best Actress Tony Award nominee, Beth Malone, award winning composer and lyricist, Joe Iconis, and many more.

Beth Malone is also an honorary board member alongside Tony Award winner Lisa Kron, Jenn Colella, Jenifer Foote, Stephanie Klemons, Havilland Stillwell, and Carmel Dean.

LezCab was founded in 2011 by Rachel Kunstadt, Ty Defoe, and Teresa Lotz.
