For one show only, quadruple threat singer/songwriter/composer/lyricist Jeremy Schonfeld will bring his heralded rock-theater fusion to Joe's Pub. The special late night concert event will take place on Monday, October 26th, at 11:30pm.

In addition to Schonfeld, scheduled to perform are Lauren Kennedy (Vanities); Jeremy Kushnier(Rent); cast members from the "Hot Summer Nights at the Kennedy" production of Drift.

Backed by a full band including John Clancy on drums, George Farmer on bass, John Putnam on guitar and Stephen "Hoops" Snyder on keyboard, with Schonfeld on the piano, the late-night, up-tempo concert will highlight songs from the feature film Clear Blue Tuesday, the album "37 Notebooks", previously unreleased originals and songs from upcoming projects, and an extended set from Drift, featuring cast members from the recently concluded, critically heralded run in North Carolina.

Of Drift, critics noted Schonfeld's "richly orchestrated score has catchy melodies and engaging variety" (Raleigh News & Observer) and has a " ... hard-edged rock sound that he can wrap in a velvet glove when he wants, with startling results." (Show Business Weekly)

Jeremy Schonfeld is the composer of the acclaimed musical and concept album Drift. A benefit concert version was performed last year BB Kings starring Adam Pascal, Julia Murney, Terrence Mann, Jarrod Emick, and Adam Kantor, among others, and was most recently produced by "Hot Summer Nights at the Kennedy," September 2009.

Upcoming theatrical projects include the development of a new musical with director and producer Daisy Prince (Jason Robert Brown's The Last Five Years) and playwright Jonathan Marc Sherman; a new holiday musical, It Happened One Christmas, commissioned by the Flat Rock Playhouse, the State Theatre of North Carolina; and a new musical inspired by Schonfeld's song "Greta" from the album "37 Notebooks."

In addition to "37 Notebooks," which featured the vocal talents of Shoshana Bean, Tracie Thoms, Amy Spanger, Lauren Kennedy, Luther Creek, and Kate Shindle, among others, other recent projects include the feature film Clear Blue Tuesday; as well as the musicals HOME and innumerable ATRAINPLAYS; and the Broadway Dreams Foundation's "Broadway Bootcamp," for which Schonfeld serves on the Board of Directors and as Musical Director. Schonfeld has also performed and contributed original music for numerous benefit concerts including "Rockers on Broadway," "Defying Inequality," "Broadway in South Africa," "The Pink Campaign on Broadway," and "Broadway for a New America," among others. Schonfeld's recording of "Song for New Orleans," featuring Adam Pascal, is currently being used as part of a recruitment video for the American Red Cross.

Recent and upcoming performances in New York include Madison Square Garden, Birdland, BB Kings, Town Hall, The Public Theatre, Symphony Space, and Lincoln Center; the 14th Street Playhouse in Atlanta; and in Boston as part of Boston University's "BU on Broadway" series.
