Heidi Kettenring Brings SOMETHING WONDERFUL to Metropolis Tonight

Artists Lounge Live presents Heidi Kettenring, who appeared as Nessarose in Broadway in Chicago's WICKED, in SOMETHING WONDERFUL tonight, June 11, 2015 at 7:30pm at Metropolis Performing Arts Centre, 111 W. Campbell St, Arlington Heights.

For one night only Chicago's favorite leading lady Heidi Kettenring lends her signature warmth to a century's worth of timeless hits. In a chronicle of popular music which is touchingly personal, Heidi reminds us that we all tell time by the songs in our lives. She's a storyteller sure to stir the heart, and her sentimental journey includes favorites from Berlin to Barbra, to The Beatles and beyond.

Heidi Kettenring is best known for appearing as Nessarose in the Broadway in Chicago company of the blockbuster WICKED. She was seen across the country in the National Tour of DISNEY'S BEAUTY & THE BEAST (Belle). Other standout theatre performances include: CATS (Grizabella), THE KING AND I (Anna), OLIVER! (Nancy), LES MISERABLE (Fantine), MY FAIR LADY (Eliza), LITTLE WOMEN (Jo March), GUYS AND DOLLS (Adelaide), HAIRSPRAY (Penny), SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS (Milly), THE MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR (Mistress Ford), HERO (Jane, World Premiere), and FUNNY GIRL (Fanny Brice). Artists Lounge Live is a dynamic concert series which offers audiences tremendous talent in an intimate light. Singers craft their own concerts, peppering humorous and poignant stories into their repertoire of beloved musical memories. These evenings play like a backstage tour of Broadway life. The series is produced by affable crooner Michael Ingersoll. Michael is a performer himself, currently touring internationally with the retro-rock sensation UNDER THE STREETLAMP. He co-produced the quartet's two live PBS concert specials, as well as several successful music events for venues including Metropolis Performing Arts Centre, Northlight Theatre, and Paramount Theatre; and philanthropic organizations including American Cancer Society, United Way, and Chicago Museum of Science and Industry.
