Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Rachel Griffin's We Have Apples: The Musical, In Concert on September 12th at 9:30PM. Recently featured on CBS National News and in The Washington Post, We Have Apples is the buzz-worthy new musical you won't want to miss!

The show follows Jane (Hannah Elless, Bright Star) a quirky nineteen-year-old, who is determined to overcome her depression and become a successful writer. Paralyzed by the intensity of Depression (Emily Nash) Jane's illness personified, Jane is forced to check into a psychiatric facility. In the hospital, Jane meets a band of fabulous fellow patients who join together to expose their inadequate healthcare and fight the stigma associated with mental illness. Led by Jane and fellow writer & patient, Jack (Kyle Scatliffe, The Color Purple) the patients start a mental health movement and turn things upside down both inside and out of the ward.

The cast also includes Andrew Kober (She Loves Me), Tamika Lawrence (If/Then), Michael Winther (Mamma Mia!), Madeleine Doherty (Sister Act), Brad Giovanine, Brian Graziani, Coleman Hemsath, Meagan Lee Hodson and Alex Sanders.

The concert features music direction and additional music by Aron Accurso, orchestrations by Oran Eldor and direction by Joe Barros. This evening is produced by Dana M. Lerner.

Rachel Griffin (Music, Lyrics, Librettist) is a 2015 Dramatists Guild Fellow. She has won two national songwriting contests, National Public Radio and American Idol Underground. Griffin is a passionate mental health advocate her music/writing have been featured in The Huffington Post, Washington Post, PBS News Hour Chats and on CBS News. She started the viral mental health campaign #imnotashamed.
