Join Hanna Burke and friends once more for our tribute to the great talent that was Madeline Kahn, a brilliant actress, singer and comedienne who left us much too soon. She was best known for her roles in films such as "Blazing Saddles", "Paper Moon", "Young Frankenstein", "What's Up, Doc?" and "Clue"!

"Why is Everyone Laughing?" was a question that Madeline Kahn often asked her co-stars, crew members and audiences. To us she was one of the greatest comediennes of her time, yet throughout her career, getting a laugh was often a surprise.

Featuring the songs and stories from her career and personal life. Also featuring the new biography Madeline Kahn: Being the Music, A Life written by William V Madison. Copies of the biography will be sold and signed by the author after the performance!

Proceeds from the performance will be donated to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance OCRFA in honor of Madeline (as well the late Gene Wilder, who spent decades raising awareness about Ovarian Cancer after he lost both his wife, Gilda Radner, and dear friend Madeline Kahn to this disease).

Performed by Hanna Burke. Featuring Will Anderson, Rachael Joyce, and Adrian Rifat. Music Direction/Piano - Jeff Cubeta. Bass - Billy Smolen. Drums - Simon Fishburn.

The performance is set for Wednesday, February 1st at 7pm at the Metropolitan Room. $15 Cover Charge plus 2-item minimum.
