Frank Dain to Reprise THE MAGIC OF MYTHS at Don't Tell Mama, 12/8-15

Singer Frank Dain will reprise The Magic of Mathis in December with two performances at Don't Tell Mama on December 8th and 15th at 6pm.This show was recently nominated for a BroadwayWorld.com Award in Best Tribute Show category. The Magic of Mathis brings new interpretations to such Johnny Mathis signature tunes as "Chances Are," "It's Not for Me to Say," "Wild Is the Wind," "Misty" and "The Twelfth of Never." Contributing creative arrangements is Dain's frequent collaborator, Musical Director Kathleen Landis, a popular pianist who is missed by many people at the Cafe Pierre, where she entertained audiences for years.

The Magic of Mathis will also include some more obscure songs, as well, such as "99 Miles from L.A.," "Yellow Roses on Her Gown," "I'll Be Easy to Find" and "Photograph," all part of Mathis's remarkable 56-year career. The show, which ran very successfully at the Metropolitan Room in September, has been directed by the Multi-award winning director/entertainer, Lennie Watts.  Don't Tell Mama is at 343 West 46th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues.

Don't Tell Mama is a cash only venue with a $20 cover and two beverage minimum for this show. Call 212.757.0788 for reservations.
