Feinstein's/54 Below Presents New Writers at 54: TA-DA! THE LYRICS OF ERIC PRICE

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents New Writers at 54: Ta-Da! The Lyrics of Eric Price on Sunday August 13 at 9:30pm and featuring Tony Award nominees Beth Malone (Fun Home), Howard McGillin (The Phantom of the Opera), Jarrod Spector (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical), and a cast of Broadway all-stars.

With music direction by Andy Einhorn (Hello Dolly!), this concert brings together a collection of eclectic, verbally dexterous, and passionate songs from a roster of new musicals by lyricist Eric Price, who also served as 21-time Tony Award winner Hal Prince's longtime assistant.

With shows that musicalize the romance that led to the discovery of radium (Radioactive), the inner workings of a family of stage magicians (Presto Change-o), and the ambitious teenagers who committed online securities fraud in the earliest days of the internet (Hello Out There), audiences can expect to encounter songs that dazzle and surprise, along with stories of collaboration, dream jobs, and real life magic. Music by Will Reynolds, Joel Waggoner, and Frank Terry. The concert is directed by Eric Price & Haley L. Bennett.

Miller (The Bubbly Black Girl, Xanadu), Jeremy Morse (Waitress, Bloodsong of Love), Libby Rosenfield (Joe Iconis' Love in Hate Nation), Colton Ryan (Dear Evan Hansen), Jarrod Spector (Tony nominee for Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Jersey Boys), Alex Tripp (Cuff Me). The band features Andy Einhorn, Michael Croiter, Paul Woodiel, and Ray Kilday.

Eric Price has written the book and lyrics for Presto Change-o, Radioactive, Hello Out There, Around the World, and The Sixth Borough. His jukebox musical Emma has been produced around the country and his follow-up Little Women is in development. Eric was the longtime assistant to 21-time Tony Award-winning director/producer Hal Prince and worked with him on the development and premiere of several new musicals in New York, Chicago, Washington DC, and London. Eric's plays include Ratcatcher, Not To Be, and additional material for Clue, which will begin a North American Tour in 2018.
