Eric Comstock & Barbara Fasano, the popular husband-and-wife team equally respected in both the pop and jazz worlds, return to The Metropolitan Room, 34 West 22nd Street, NYC, for a one-week engagement beginning October 15th and continuing through October 20th.

The newly conceived evening, called “THE NIGHT HAS A THOUSAND EYES”, is a celebration of the intimacy and truth-telling that defines the best nightclub experience. Comstock and Fasano make the case for the validity and relevance of this music in this setting in our digital 21st Century. Their musical repertoire reflects the varied and ever-growing pop and jazz songbooks, from Duke Ellington, Jerome Kern and Cole Porter to Joni Mitchell, Stephen Sondheim and Tom Waits. They will be accompanied by Sean Smith on bass.

There is a $25 cover charge plus a two-drink minimum. For reservations call (212) 206-0440. For more information visit www.metropolitanroom.com.

Wednesday, October 17 @ 7 PM

Comstock said: “Barbara and I want to create an evening that celebrates coming together by being together in a small room sharing great songs.” Fasano adds: “I think it is a primal need right now – the coming together around the campfire to share stories, laughs, truths.”

Comstock and Fasano's combination of warmth, wit, swing and sensuality have made them a celebrated team in the nightclub world. This Metropolitan Room run will be their first major NY engagement since their 2011 show, "HELLUVA TOWN" at the Algonquin’s Oak Room.

Winners of the New York Nightlife Award, Comstock and Fasano have been honored as musically savvy vocalists, recording artists, and writers of their numerous shows, winning an unprecedented three MAC Awards in one year including Best Vocal Duo and Outstanding Female Vocalist. Barbara’s CDs, THE GIRLS OF SUMMER and WRITTEN IN THE STARS, were also awarded Back Stage’s Record of the Year. Eric, the co-creator and star of the hit Off-Broadway revue OUR SINATRA, just released his fourth CD, BITTER/SWEET.

Comstock & Fasano have headlined at Carnegie Hall, The Allen Room and Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola at Jazz at Lincoln Center, Feinstein's at Loews Regency, The Carlyle, Birdland, Iridium, and the 92nd Street Y, and their tours have taken them to Cooperstown Music Festival, Guild Hall in East Hampton, Ocean House in Watch Hill, RI, Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts, Jazz at the Bistro and Sheldon Concert Hall in St. Louis, The Oval Room at the Copley Plaza in Boston, Prince Music Theatre in Philadelphia, The Colony Hotel in Palm Beach, Kerrytown Concert House in Ann Arbor, Michigan, The Rrazz Room in San Francisco, and music festivals and concert halls from coast to coast.
