FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed "Best of New York" by New York Magazine, and "an invaluable New York institution" by The New York Post, continues its 10th Anniversary season with the debut of acclaimed Broadway vocalist, Davis Gaines - hailed as "the closest thing on Broadway to a vocal Superman" by The New York Times - in his first New York club appearance in over ten years. His new show "All the Way" - featuring Carol Anderson on piano, Mary Ann McSweeney on bass and Jim Hershman on guitar - includes love songs from the Great American Songbook such as "How Deep is the Ocean," "Over the Rainbow" and "But Beautiful;" pop favorites like "I'll Never Fall in Love Again" and "All the Time;" as well as theater songs "Maybe This Time" and "This Nearly Was Mine". The show runs Sunday, July 26 and Monday, July 27 at the Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street).

Davis Gaines - best known for playing the title role in Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera on Broadway, in Los Angeles and San Francisco more than 2,000 times - received the Bay Area Critics Award for Best Actor for his performance. He was also chosen by Hal Prince and Lloyd Webber to play the leading role in the world premiere of Whistle Down the Wind. His other Broadway and National Tour credits include Raoul in The Phantom of the Opera, Cornelius Hackl in Hello, Dolly! with Carol Channing and Camelot with Richard Burton.

Gaines played the sailor, Anthony Hope, in the 20th anniversary concert productions of Sondheim's Sweeney Todd and most recently, played Sweeney Todd, opposite Faith Prince, in Sweeney Todd with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra. In addition to his extensive work in theatre and his numerous television and film appearances, Davis has sung with virtually every major symphony orchestra in North America, including the New York Pops at Carnegie Hall and the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra at the Hollywood Bowl. He has sung for five U.S. Presidents and his voice can be heard on over 30 cast recordings and compilation albums, as well as two solo releases.

FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY will present Davis Gaines on Sunday, July 26 and Monday, July 27 at 8:30 PM. The shows have a $25.00 cover with $40.00 premium seats, both with a $25.00 food and beverage minimum. Jackets are suggested but not required.
