Davie, Dowdy, Salvador Set for 7/23 'Bway at the Beach'

Fire Island's The Ice Palace, located within the Grove Hotel in Cherry Grove, will continue "Brandon and Ray's Broadway at the Beach," an open-mic musical theatre party on Fire Island featuring Broadway's best. On Monday, July 23rd, from 9pm till 11:30pm, join host Brandon Cutrell (MAC and Bistro Award-winning host of The After Party) with Ray Fellman (Captain Louie) at the piano for this weekly party on Fire Island.

There is no cover charge and no minimum. All audience members are welcome to sing as the mic is always open, or sit back, breathe the ocean air and enjoy a cocktail with friends.
 
On Monday, July 23rd, "Broadway at the Beach" will welcome special guests, Erin Davie of Broadway's Grey Gardens, Michelle Dowdy of Broadway's Hairspray and Gerard Salvador of Broadway's Mamma Mia!

Davie is making her Broadway debut in Grey Gardens as Young "Little" Edie Beale.  Nations Tours include: Swing! and The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber Off-Broadway, she has appeared in Infertility.  Other credits include Carousel (Olney Theatre Centre), Jekyll & Hyde (Surflight Theater at Trump Plaza) and The Student Prince (Virginia Musical Theater).  She appeared as a featured soloist with the Boston Pops and has a BFA in Theatre from Boston Conservatory. 

Dowdy is making her Broadway debut in Hairspray as the understudy for Tracy.  A native of Tampa, Florida, she was cast in Hairspray on the day of her high school graduation.

Salvador is making his Broadway debut in Mamma Mia!.  National tour credits include Mamma Mia! (Pepper).  Other credits include Fame, Honk! (American premiere), The King and I, Dogeaters, Sweeney Todd, The Music Man, and The Mystery of Edwin Drood. Television work includes: ABC's "Citykids," various Nickelodeon spots. He earned his BFA from NYU (Tisch).

The Ice Palace on Fire Island is located within the Grove Hotel, just steps away from the Cherry Grove ferry pier. There is a full bar and reservations are not necessary for this event.  For more information, visit www.BrandonCutrell.com.
