After making his solo debut last fall, Daniel Nolen will return to The Duplex for "Safe Space" on Saturday, May 6 at 9:30pm.

"Safe Space" tells the satiric (and sexy) story of Klay, an alien who comes to Earth in an effort to find himself but instead finds a world where fitting in with humans isn't as easy as it seems. What follows is a journey of self-discovery and the realization that life on Earth doesn't always go as planned. The show combines music by a variety of artists such as David Bowie, The Killers, and Barbra Streisand.

Daniel Nolen will perform "Safe Space" in the cabaret theatre at The Duplex (61 Christopher Street at 7th Avenue). The hour-long show is directed by Ben Rimalower, with Music Direction by Martin Landry. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door, with a 2 drink minimum. Tickets can be purchased online at www.purplepass.com.

Daniel Nolen's first show "Daniel Does The Duplex" was performed last fall. He is also an illustrator, and his work can be seen on his website at www.danielnolen.com.
