Christopher Fitzgerald Comes To Feinstein's 3/28

FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed "Best of New York" by New York Magazine and "an invaluable New York institution" by The New York Post, will continue its all-star Spring 2010 season with the debut of Finian's Rainbow star and Tony Award nominee, Christopher Fitzgerald. For his show at Feinstein's Fitzgerald will sing music by some of his chums: Cole Porter, Ben Folds, and Gonzo as well as classic fare such as "When I'm Not Near the Girl I Love" and "Something to Live For" and such loony fare as "Josephina, Please No Lean-a On the Bell" and "Frankenfurter Sandwiches." The show, which features Musical Direction by award winning actor, composer and lyricist David Turner, runs at the Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street).

Christopher Fitzgerald's thirty year performing career began in Portland, Maine when his mother, out of a combination of intuitive insight and sheer desperation, enrolled him in a clown class at age five. What has followed has been a diverse professional odyssey encompassing theater, film, television and balancing large objects on his face. He most recently starred in the Broadway revival of Finian's Rainbow as Og the lovesick leprechaun. Other Broadway credits include Young Frankenstein (Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle Award nominations), Wicked and Amour (Drama Desk Award nomination). Off-Broadway credits include Stairway to Paradise, Babes In Arms and Broadway Bash (City Center's Encores!), Observe the Sons of Ulster Marching Towards the Somme (Lincoln Center), Fully Committed (Cherry Lane Theatre), Saturday Night (Second Stage. Drama Desk Award nomination), Wise Guys (New York Theater Workshop), Corpus Christi (Manhattan Theatre Club), and The Cripple of Inishmaan (Public Theater).

FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY will present Christopher Fitzgerald on Sunday, March 28 at 8:30 PM. All shows have a $30.00 cover charge with $50.00 premium seats and a $25.00 food and beverage minimum.
