The hot new Cabaret Soiree Carnivale presents a 12 week season DownStairs at the Maj sizzling with international, national and local acts guaranteed to blow you away. On every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 1 July to 18 September @7.30pm, come catch a new show.

We have a host of stunning performers paying tribute to some of the legends of the music world including: Edith Piaf, the 60's Diva groups, jazz and blues classics, The Lennon and McCartney Songbook, Bette Midler, Tom Lehrer, Marlene Dietrich, comedy performances and more.

Let our new mysterious ring master crack her whip and get the season started with Parisian chanteuse Caroline Nin performing Thursday 1, Friday 2 & Saturday 3 July in Hymne a Piaf - a homage to the legendary Edith Piaf.

Fans of Edith Piaf know there is more to ‘the little sparrow' than Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien! Parisian cabaret performer Caroline Nin gives you a chance to hear more of Piaf's much loved oeuvre. This frank, tender and bi-lingual tribute to France's most famous chanteuse is a spine-tingling and moving revelation as she uses her eloquent, chiselled features, attentive diction and spirited singing to breathe new life into familiar anthems. This Piaf tribute is not an impersonation but a homage by a fellow Parisian Chanteuse. She delivers the famous anthems such as La vie en Rose, Hymne à l'amour and Padam in her smoky jazz inflected tone.

After sellout seasons at the Sydney Opera House and Adelaide Cabaret Festival, Nin comes to Perth to draw the audience into the uplifting and tragic world of Edith Piaf.

"When Nin sings the room strains to listen and hairs on the backs of necks stand up. An evening rich in poignant poetry." Daily Telegraph, Sydney

"Caroline Nin oozes sex appeal from every crease of her long black evening gown.' dB Magazine, Adelaide
