BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano.

This Thursday, April 17th, Broadway Sessions goes #Hendynation with Broadway vet Jessica Hendy and more.

Jessica Hendy has appeared on Broadway in Cats, Amour and starred as Amneris in Elton John and Tim Rice's Aida. Hendy is a sought after concert performer and has starred regionally in Cats, Next to Normal and many more.

The evening will also feature performances by Michael Campayno and Mike Schwitter. Campayno is best known for starring as 'Rolf Gruber' in NBC's The Sound of Music. Mike Schwitter was featured in the national touring production of The Book of Mormon

The evening will also feature a new song by composer Joel B. New for his podcast entitled "Something New". On hand to perform New's song will be Ernie Pruneda (Sister Act) and Justin Daniel (Bistro Award winner). The evening will also feature aperformance by singer Morgna Assante

"Singing for Shots" Open mic challenge takes place before the 11pm show...

Broadway Sessions takes place every Thursday evening at The Laurie Beechman Theater inside The West Bank Café located at 407 west 42nd street (corner of 42nd street and 9th avenue). 212-695-6909. Doors open at 10:00, showtime at 11pm $5 drink specials all night. $5 cover includes a donation to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids.
