Broadway Sessions welcomes Jackie Hoffman Thursday, February 17th.

Jackie Hoffman currently stars as Grandmama in The Addams Family at The Lunt-Fontanne Theater. Her other Broadway credits include Caliope in Xanadu and The Female Authority figure in Harispray, for which she won a 2003 Theater World Award. A Joseph Jefferson award winning veteran of Chicago's The Second City comedy improv troupe, Hoffman is renowned for her sell out own woman shows "If You Call This Living", "The Kvetching Continues", "Jackie Hoffman's Hannukah", "Jackie's Kosher Christmas" and "Jackie's Valentines Day Massacre". Her current solo offering at Joe's Pub,"Jackie Five-OH", has recently been extended a second time with performances on Feb. 21, March 14, March 21 and April 4th.

Also on hand to perform on the 17th will be rock n' roll ventriloquist Carla Rhodes and vocalist Hernando Umana. Audience members will have the opportunity to win a pair of tickets to The Addams Family on Broadway.

Broadway Sessions is described as an evening of musical performances, games, comedy and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week, It is hosted by Ben Cameron (Wicked, Aida, Footloose) and features composer/musical director Will Van Dyke (The Addams Family) on piano. The show takes place every Thursday evening at The Midtown Theater (163 west 46th street inside the HA! Comedy Club). Doors open at 10:30 pm, with showtime at 11pm and open mic going til 2 am. There is no cover charge for this event. Donations will be collected for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids.
