Acting Up Series is producing a unique cabaret concert of hilariously vulgar songs performed by some of NYC's top music theatre talent, BAD WORDS FOR A GOOD CAUSE. Half of all proceeds will go to Live Through Love, a Non-Profit Organization set up to bring awareness and educate on the battles against discrimination and reward open LGBT High School Seniors with scholarships.

The concert will take place at The Duplex (61 Christopher St) on Saturday, April 4th at 9:30pm.Tickets can be purchased at www.purplepass.com/badwords for $16 or at the door for $20. There will be a 2 drink minimum per person.

The daring, dirty, vulgar and downright hilarious songs that you'll never hear at a PG-13 cabaret all come to the forefront. All your "naughty" can be evened out with a little "nice" at this special benefit since half of all proceeds go to Live Through Love.

"Our mission is to reward open LGBT High School Seniors who live life fearlessly, follow their dreams and exude our core motto and name, with scholarships. We're here to make sure all humans are treated equally." - Dominc Sheahan-Stahl, Founder of Live Through Love about his organization.

Started in 2014, Acting Up Series was forged out of a desire to take back control from producers and put the creation of projects back in the hands of the artists. From a web series and Fringe Festival show to classes, workshops and charitable benefits, we focus on performers and the LGBT community by giving back, helping hone skills and creating performance opportunities!
