A celebration of Dame Shirley Bassey's illustrious career, THE BOY WHO LOVED BASSEY, is an unforgettable musical tribute written by Ben Cameron and Alan Winner, with musical direction by Andy Roninson, under the direction by Cameron and starring Winner. ALAN WINNER (Writer/Performer) originally from West Texas, spent six years living in the UK. In Cardiff he trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and performed with the Welsh National Youth Opera in productions of Candide (Voltaire/Pangloss) and The Rake's Progress (The Auctioneer). While at college he wrote his haunting one-man short Polly and Sam which he later performed at Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He also spent a year singing in the multi-award winning choir Only Men Aloud! under the direction of Tim Rhys Evans. He left the choir to make his way to London where he performed in several original productions including Trevor Nunn's production of Gone With The Wind in the West End. His final role in London was the Pirate King in an all-male production of The Pirates of Penzance winning the award for Best Off-West End Production from Whatsonstage.com. Upon moving to New York, Alan began collaborating on the original musical Halls with Rebecca Saathoff Davis and Bill Winner. He became a company member of The Hive Theatre and later performed in their A Midsummer Night's Dream both at The Cell and Theater For The New City. He is now their Artistic Director and is working with the rest of the staff to plan their 5th Exposed Reading Series and the New York City Premiere of Noah Schechter's play, "The Accidental Death of Nelson Fritz" this coming Winter and Spring. www.alanwinner.com

BEN CAMERON (Writer/Director) has appeared on Broadway in Wicked (original cast), Aida and Footloose (original cast). His touring credits include Sweet Charity (opposite Molly Ringwald), Footloose, Fame-The Musical, State Fair and Tommy. Ben has served on the faculties of NYU's Cap 21 Studio and Wagner College. He has danced for Dre.Dance (Andrew Palermo and Taye Diggs dir.), The Utah Contemporary Dance Theater (now called Odyssy), and on the ESPY awards. ANDY RONINSON (Musical Director) is a music director and composer living in NYC. Most recently, he was the Music Associate for A Second Chance at the Public Theater. He is a member of the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theater Workshop where he was awarded the Robert B. Sherman Scholarship and Jerry Harrington Award.
