The cast of THE WONDER YEARS reunited yesterday, May 28, to film extra features for the long-running series' upcoming DVD release. Quite a few of the cast members -- including Josh Saviano, Jason Hervey, Fred Savage, Danica McKellar and more -- took to Twitter to express their excitement. Scroll down for photos!

THE WONDER YEARS was created by Neal Marlens and Carol Black and ran for six seasons on ABC from 1988 to 1993. The dramedy centered on a boy (Savage) and his family who lived in the American suburbs in the late '60s and early '70s.

The show won an Emmy for Best Comedy Series in 1988, and at age 13, Fred Savage became the youngest actor ever nominated as Outstanding Lead Actor for a Comedy Series. The show was also awarded a Peabody Award in 1989. Overall, the series won 22 awards and was nominated for 54 more.
