In an interview on last night's ET, actor John Stamos revealed that he was tired of always being associated with his 'Full House' character Uncle Jesse.

"For years I tried to distance myself from it, and I realized that was not going to happen," said Stamos,
"Now I look back at it so fondly and I'm proud of it." Check out the interview below!

The actor, who has appeared on Broadway in Cabaret and Bye Bye Birdy, will soon star as Mike, a New York bachelor with all the right moves in the upcoming film My Man is a Loser. The film opens in select theaters and on demand on July 25.

In the film, when his buddies (Michael Rapaport and Bryan Callen) ask for advice on how to regain their marriage mojo, Mike's lessons start backfiring with hilarious results.
