ABC's Good Morning America this morning shared a preview of Barbara Walters' exclusive interview with filmmaker Peter Rodger, the father of Elliot Rodger, who killed six people, injured 13, and then took his own life near the campus of the University of California, Santa Barbara last month.

In his first television interview, Rodger revealss he can't believe and could not have predicted that his son would kill six people and himself. "There's no way that I thought that this boy could hurt a flea. This is the most unbelievable thing Barbara that I don't get is that we didn't see this coming at all."

Rodger, a second-unit director on The Hunger Games, adds that he feels like he's living what he calls a "reverse nightmare". "I go to sleep. I wake up. And I think of those young men and young women who died and were injured and were terrorized and my son did that," Rodger said. "My son caused so much pain and suffering for so many families."

Walters' interview with Rodger will air in its entirety on Friday, June 27th on a special edition of 20/20.
