NBC's TODAY announced Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy by author Helen Fielding as its latest pick for the TODAY Book Club. Correspondent Jenna Bush Hager will host the second TODAY Book Club Google Hangout with the author on Monday, November 4th at 10 am ET. Below, check out the announcement from this morning's TODAY on NBC.

Hager sat down with the best-selling author in London to discuss her highly-anticipated novel. Fielding told Hager: "I hope that when people have read the book, they'll feel as though they've had a slice of life. And I hope they'll have cried. I hope they'll have laughed. And most of all, I hope they really have a lovely, lovely time reading it."

Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy begins a new chapter and romantic adventure for one of the most popular and beloved heroines in modern-day literature. The novel releases in the U.S. on October 15, and on October 16 Fielding will kick off her U.S. tour on TODAY, live in studio where she will sign books for fans and answer questions.

Fielding will return Monday, November 4th to join Hager for the second TODAY Book Club Google Hangout. Members of TODAY Book Club will have the opportunity to connect directly with Fielding about the third book in the Bridget Jones saga during the Google Hangout.
