Click below for a behind-the-scenes look at WICKED alum Shoshana Bean's sophomore album "O'Farrell Street", just released yesterday, February 12, 2013. Watch footage and interviews with Bean about her inspirations and the creation process.

Bean's unique take on vintage soul music of the late 1960's draws inspiration from artists like Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin, Etta James and Sam Cooke. She has successfully created a sound that is simultaneously nostalgic and refreshing.

As a live performer, Bean is a force to be reckoned with. She has created a live show experience that is unparalleled and has gained a fiercely loyal following. Bean has performed solo concerts around the world and has shared the stage with Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Luther Vandross, Brian McKnight and BeBe Winans, to name a few. Her debut album "Superhero" earned her an Independent Music Award and hit #5 on the iTunes R&B charts.

She is also a veteran of the Broadway stage, having appeared in both the original cast of "Hairspray" and in "Wicked" as the green-skinned witch.

Shoshana Bean will celebrate with an album release concert and party at The Sayers Club in Los Angeles on Wednesday, February 20.
