After leaving their sheltered Amish and Mennonite lives to experience New York City together for the first time, Abe, Rebecca, Kate, Sabrina and Jeremiah find that life after leaving their communities is far more difficult than they'd ever expected.
They reunite hoping to make a fresh start in Sarasota, Florida (home to a large ex-Amish and Amish community), but along the way find more culture shock, challenges and unexpected discoveries.
