Newcastle United welcomes Liverpool to St. James Park after last week defeating Tottenham 2-1, scoring two goals in the second half, to raise their point total to 10 on the table and firmly in the crunch of clubs jostling for a coveted top five finish. The Reds continue to depend on homegrown Captain Steven Gerrard to lead them, while hoping that Striker Mario Balotelli, who has 23 shots on goal but has yet to net one this BPL season, can find a way to lead the charge to maintain Champions league qualifying.

Chelsea continues to have a stronghold at the top of the table with 24 points and four points ahead of surprising second place Southampton, even after giving up a last second goal off the head of Robin Van Persie last week in their 1-1 tie to Manchester United. The Blues, continued to be led by Diego Costa (tied for first in goals scored so far this BPL season with nine), face the Queens Park Rangers who SNAPPED a three match losing streak by defeating Aston Villa 2-0, with both scores coming from Charlie Austin.

As historically traditional, the Manchester Derby comes at a time where both teams have a point to prove. Louis Van Gaal's Red Devils salvaged a last second 1-1 tie versus league leader Chelsea last week, creating belief that they can maintain contention for the next Champions League. Meanwhile, defending champion Manchester City lost to West Ham United 2-1 last week dropping them to third on the table. The Citizens look to Sergio "Kun" Aguero, who was blanked last week, to re-capture his scoring ways which so far have him tied the season goal scoring lead with nine.

Crystal Palace await the arrival of Sunderland to Selhurst Park with both teams hoping to rise on the table. Crystal Palace held on for a 2-2 tie versus West Brom last week blowing a two goal halftime lead, while Sunderland lost 2-0 against Arsenal for their second defeat in a row after having not seen a defeat in their prior four matches.

Legendary commentator Andres Cantor and former Mexican National Team player Manuel Sol will call Newcastle United vs Liverpool and soccer analyst Sammy Sadovnik will join Sol as commentator for Chelsea vs. Queens Park Rangers. Cantor and Sol will call Manchester City vs Manchester United and then Sadovnik will re-team with Sol for Crystal Palace vs Sunderland.
