Mun2 Network is #1 Hispanic Cable Network in Prime Time Among Hispanic Adults 18-49 For Week of 3/26/12 Outperforming Galavision, MTV Tr3s, FX, Disney, TNT and USA
mun2, the bicultural cable network, had its best weekly audience delivery in its history, delivering 95,000 adults 18-49 and 154,000 total viewers for the week ending April 1, according to Nielsen. Fueled by record-breaking performances of the original novela "La Reina del Sur" (Kate del Castillo), "I Love Jenni" (Jenni Rivera) and the men's Olympic soccer qualifiers' semi-final, mun2 was the #1 most-watched Hispanic cable network for the week amongst Hispanic adults 18-49 in Monday-Sunday prime time, out-delivering Galavision by +17% (95K vs. 81K), as well as Discovery en Español, Fox Deportes, ESPN Deportes, GolTV, Discovery Familia and MTV Tr3s. The network was also the fourth most-watched cable network among Hispanic adults 18-49 in prime time for the entire week, regardless of language, besting networks such as FX, Disney, USA and TNT.

Season to date (9/19/11-4/1/12), mun2 has increased its prime time delivery with a +11% in total persons, +9% increase in persons 18-49 and a +10% in YLA. mun2 is on track to have its largest season ever in the history of the network.

Attributed to the growth was the enormous audience delivery of the 2012 CONCACAF Men's Olympic Soccer Qualifier semi-final game on Saturday, March 31. The soccer match, which featured El Salvador vs. Honduras, becomes the most viewed program ever on mun2, with nearly half-a-million total persons (481,000) and over 300,000 persons 18-49 (311,000) delivered. The network continued to drive in younger viewers with Young Latino Americans (YLA, 18-34) attributing 134,000 of the persons 18-49 viewing audience for the match.

Other programming highlights for the week include "Reina del Sur" (Mon.-Thu., 10 p.m.) deliveries which made it the #1 program on Hispanic cable at 10 p.m., and propelled mun2 to be the #3 network across all cable networks, regardless of language, with Hispanic persons 18-49 for that time slot. During the course of the week, the telenovela grabbed 198,000 total persons and 133,000 persons 18-49; the network had 92,000 YLA viewers among Hispanic audiences. "Reina del Sur" hit its largest audiences during this past week, and made mun2 grab its highest weekly 10 p.m. delivery ever with total viewers and adults 18-49.

"I Love Jenni" (Sundays, 10 p.m.) mun2's most successful original series, also reached its highest audiences for season two with 85,000 total persons, 73,000 persons 18-49 and 54,000 YLAs during its Sunday, April 1st 1p.m. telecast in the "You're On Weekends" block. "I Love Jenni" made mun2 the #1 Hispanic cable network in the period, and the fifth most watched network across all of cable, regardless of language, for that period beating TNT, Disney, MTV, among others.

Digital – mun2.tv
For the week ending April 1, mun2.tv, the networks award-winning digital property, had double-digit, year-over-year growth in page views growing +31%. The site logged over 2 million views in one week. The "I Love Jenni" section – mun2.tv./jenni - had a +7% year-over year growth, with over 76,000 unique visitors in March.
