Zachary Quinto to Appear on Next Season of HBO's GIRLS

Fresh off his appearance in Broadway's The Glass Menagerie, Zachary Quinto is set to appear on the next season of the HBO hit series GIRLS, according to EW.

According to the report, the actor will appear on at least one episode of the series. No details about his character or how many episode he will appear in have been revealed. The fourth season of GIRLS will also feature guest stars Gillian Jacobs and Jason Ritter.

Quinto rose to prominence for his role as series antagonist Sylar in the Science fiction drama Heroes from 2006 to 2010. He is also known for his portrayal of Spock in the 2009 reboot Star Trek and its 2013 sequel, Star Trek Into Darkness and has appeared in smaller roles on television series such as So NoTORIous, American Horror Story and 24.

In 2013, Quinto played the role of Tom Wingfield in the American Repertory Theatre's production of The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams, which opened on September 23rd.
