White House Black Market Opening in at Fort Worth's Sundance Square

Sundance Square, Fort Worth's premier shopping, dining and entertainment district, announced White House Black Market will open a 3,815-square-foot store at the corner of Houston and Third Streets, across the from The Loft. Located at 401 Houston Street, White House Black Market has begun to build out their space and plans to open in July.

"We have been talking with more national retailers as we look to attract additional soft good and apparel stores into Sundance Square's mix," said Johnny Campbell, president and CEO of Sundance Square. "In the past few years, we have seen significant interest from national retailers who are considering downtown Fort Worth for their portfolios. With a history of strong occupancies among office and residential space, Fort Worth is the perfect location for retailers looking for expansion."

Downtown Fort Worth has been widely recognized for its outstanding quality of life. Recently, Fort Worth was named the number one downtown in America by Livability.com. There are 45,000 people who work in downtown Fort Worth that are in the heart of a vibrant community with an abundance of shops, cultural destinations, and restaurants.

"With the opening of Sundance Square Plaza and two new buildings bookending the one-acre space, Sundance Square's visibility has grown even bigger," says Campbell. "The Westbrook and Commerce Building are more than 90% percent leased and we will open The Cassidy this summer."

Sundance Square recently opened the Silver Leaf Cigar Lounge to rave reviews. The cigar lounge is a 2,100-square-foot upscale venue that offers cigars, humidors, pipes and more for the guests who enjoy a good cigar and a fine drink. The state-of-the-art ventilation system ensures a pleasurable atmosphere for all guests.

The United States is the largest purveyor of cigars and the market seems only to be growing according to Global Industry Analysts, Inc. The global market for cigars is projected to reach 22.7 billion sticks by 2018.

Silver Leaf's 350-square-foot patio was a hot seat among the NCAA Final Four and Main Street Fort Worth Arts Festival guests that recently rolled into Sundance Square.

On Sundance Square's restaurant scene, a new Korean inspired culinary destination, Hoya Korean Kitchen, will open in July. Restauteur Odes Kim, will bring his Korean influences to Sundance Square's loyal culinary followers.

Asian designer, Hatsumi Kuzuu has been retained to design the interior of the fast casual restaurant. Kuzzu has designed Tei An, Brownstone, Urban Taco, Sissy's and the 2013 award winning FT33.
