World Series of Fighting (WSOF) makes its Florida debut on NBCSN Saturday, October 26, at 9 p.m. ET in the promotion's fifth show of 2013 with an exciting card of top-level mixed martial arts (MMA). This weekend's WSOF is highlighted by the first championship fight in World Series of Fighting history between welterweights and undefeated WSOF veterans Josh "The People's Warrior" Burkman (26-9, 6 KOs) of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Steve Carl (20-3, 2 KOs) of Belle Plaine, Iowa.

Burkman, a former UFC fighter, faces Carl, a submission specialist who has won 15 of his 20 career victories by tap out and rides a five-fight winning streak. The two have earned a combined five WSOF wins (Burkman 3; Carl 2).

The co-main event features bantamweights and WSOF veterans Carson "Little Juggernaut" Beebe (14-2, 2 KOs) of Schaumburg, Ill., vs. Marlon Moraes (11-4-1, 4 KOs) of Jupiter, Fla, each unbeaten in their WSOF appearances. Beebe's background includes extensive training in wrestling. He has won eight of his last nine fights. Moraes, a two-time Brazilian national muay Thai champion, is on a five-fight win streak.
