Victoria Theater Film Series to Present CLEOPATRA, 7/13 - 15

Victoria Theatre Association invites you to the 2012 Cool Films Series presentation of the iconic film, CLEOPATRA, July 13 – 15, 2012 at the historic Victoria Theatre. CLEOPATRA stars the enchanting actress Elizabeth Taylor with Richard Burton and Rex Harrison.

Played by the legendary actress Elizabeth Taylor, CLEOPATRA chronicles the struggles of the young Queen of Egypt as she attempts to resist pressures from imperialist Rome. Released in 1963, CLEOPATRA holds the record for most expensive film ever made with lavish sets, intricate costumes, and remarkable make-up that won Best Art Direction, Best Costume Design, and Best Visual Effects at the 1963 Academy Awards©.

What's the best part about the 2012 Cool Films Series (besides FREE popcorn and soda)? Tickets are just $5 each, or $28 for a 10-ticket passbook for passbook subscribers – a great entertainment bargain during a year when gas prices have been hovering near $4 per gallon!

Films are shown at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 3 p.m. on Sundays in the Victoria Theatre. Recreating the feel of the old-time movie palaces, guests may enjoy free popcorn and soda in the lobby beginning one hour prior to showtime, a Mighty Wurlitzer organ concert beginning 30 minutes prior to showtime, and a classic cartoon just before the movie.
