After 16 Years, ABC's The View says goodbye to original co-host Joy Behar with a can't-miss celebration hosted by Mario Cantone and featuring guests Regis Philbin, Meredith Vieira, Joan Rivers, Susie Essman, Alan Alda and a performance from Tony Bennett. Check out a clip from the episode below!

Daytime Emmy Award-winner Joy Behar, one of the two original co-hosts of ABC's The View, along with Barbara Walters, is among today's leading comic talents. The 70-year-old began her hosting duties on the show in August 1997.

After the taping of today's farewell show, the standup comic shared that she hopes to do something different that does not involve the hectic schedule of a daily talk show. "I don't want to do one thing," she revealed.

The network recently announced that Jenny McCarthy will be replacing host Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who exited the show last month for a spot at FOX News Channel. The show's creator, Barbara Walters will depart next spring. ABC has not yet named a replacement for Behar.
