Even an Ivy League education won't prepare you for this: "Idiotsitter" premieres tonight, January 14 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central. Created by Jillian Bell and Charlotte Newhouse, the 10-episode, weekly, half-hour scripted series debuts after the season six premiere of "Workaholics." The premiere episode of "Idiotsitter" will be available on the Comedy Central App and cc.com on December 28, and on DTO platforms on January 4.

"Idiotsitter" follows Newhouse ("Billie"), a cash-strapped, straight and narrow Ivy League grad, who reluctantly answers a babysitting ad to make ends meet, only to find out what is actually needed is a court-appointed guardian for Bell ("Gene"), an heiress under house arrest in her daddy's mansion. The ten-episode season also features Stephen Root ("Boardwalk Empire") as Gene's permissive and oblivious dad and Jennifer Elise Cox ("The Brady Bunch Movie, "Web Therapy") as her stepmother, as well as guest stars Randall Park, Andrew W.K. and Chris Klein. In the season premiere, Billie realizes she's been duped by the babysitter ad, but sticks around for the much-needed and outsized paycheck and experiences her first Gene Russell house party.

Bell and Newhouse met while members of the Groundlings. A former writer for "Saturday Night Live," Bell currently stars in Comedy Central's "Workaholics" and currently can be seen in "The Night Before" alongside Seth Rogen, and with Jack Black in Sony's live-action adaptation of R.L. Stein's hit children's books "Goosebumps." Recently she appeared in "22 Jump Street."

"Idiotsitter" is executive produced by Bell, Newhouse, Jeff Tomsic, Pam Kohl, Amy Slomovits, Dave Becky and Brady McKay. Monika Zielinska and Allison Kingsley are the Executives in Charge of Production for Comedy Central. "Idiotsitter" is the second short form series produced for cc.com to make the transition from digital screens to a long form series to premiere on Comedy Central, following "This Is Not Happening," also directed by Tomsic.

Fans can check out cc.com/idiotsitter and follow the "Idiotsitter" Facebook, Twitter andInstagram accounts to discover new clips and episodes, find behind the scenes content, and immerse themselves in the absurd world of Gene and Billie.
